It's near and dear to my heart, the little nature center that could...Irvine is a true gem in Baltimore County. I've worked for them since 1997 in one form or another. I am the Arts Program Coordinator at Irvine which is a position that I love. If you've never been to Irvine Nature Center in Owings Mills, I assure you it should be on your list of places to visit. Regularly.
S33 is a great place to view art or take a class. I have been an instructor with s33 since summer 2005. Past courses taught include intro to painting, collage & assemblage, and mixed-media painting.
This is a non-profit for artists of all kinds (music, dance, visual, storytellers, etc.). As a YAMD artist on their roster, they pair you with area schools and orgs bringing art to the masses. They are true blue artist advocates, and obtain funding to thrill you and your audience -- can you say LIVING WAGE? I've had wonderful program experiences through this organization and I am looking forward to my next Artist-in-Residence program with them.
All kinds of info on green products, services, and links.
Visit more of my work on www.myartspace.com and learn about other artists from around the globe. It's a great place for artists to network and for curators and collectors preview who's who.
